Autumnal inspiration

Gorgeous!   A little on the hot side of things during the days, but perfect sunset observing weather.  I'm waiting for the pink Easter lillies to emerge from the dry paddock in front of our cottage.

And we look forward to rain that will fill our water tanks and saturate the ground.

Such a beautiful sunset, what a big beautiful Australian sky.

Orange Hawthorn berries, growing near Hahndorf, the ones on our property are Cadmium red.  Vive la difference!

I love the palette of greys, beige and russet browns.

A galah's feather rests upon a nest of dried burr pods (they're the ones that get stuck in your socks).
